iBlueYonder has updated its recreation of Stark’s Twin Oaks Airpark (S73) for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 (MSFS2024), dubbing it the ‘most advanced simulated Willamette Valley GA airport ever’. The small, privately-owned general aviation airport nestled amongst the rolling farmland and orchards of Oregon’s Willamette Valley has been a beloved destination for flight simmers for nearly two decades. With the latest update, the iconic airpark has been completely rebuilt from scratch to take advantage of the technical advances present in MSFS 2024.
Stark’s Twin Oaks Airpark’s long history in flight sim is thanks entirely to the meticulous attention to detail of iBlueYonder’s founder, Bill Womack. In 2007, Womack released the airport for FSX via Orbx. It featured a detailed and accurate depiction of the airpark, with seamless integration into Orbx’s FTX NA Blue Pacific Northwest scenery, making it among the first “photoreal” airports for flight sim in the United States. Over subsequent years, the Orbx version was made available for different simulators, including Prepar3D, X-Plane, and MSFS 2020.

Completely rebuilt for MSFS2024, this iconic yet quirky airport will no doubt remain a highly atmospheric destination for flight simmers thanks to Womack’s ability to capture the details around the airport. The airport features an updated airport layout and buildings as of 2025, detailed hangar interiors with open doors, animated people and birds, and even llamas! The airpark’s multi-level, sloping runway is also represented with all of the improved ground detail present in MSFS2024.

Stark’s Twin Oaks Airpark for MSFS2024 is available via Contrail for a suggested price of $10.68 (USD).
