iBlueYonder Announces Dallas Love Field for X-Plane 12

Developer iBlueYonder has surprised the community with an announcement that they will be bringing their acclaimed Dallas Love Field Airport (KDAL) to X-Plane 12. The team was approached by StableSystem and Joshomoore to bring iBlueYonder’s Dallas Love Field scenery to X-Plane 12, and they are now edging closer to releasing the scenery for the platform.

Dallas Love Field Airport (KDAL) is located just six miles northwest of downtown Dallas, Texas. Love Field was Dallas’ main airport from 1917 when it first opened, right up until 1974 when Fort Worth opened just 11 miles to the west.

The teams have been working on the new scenery for X-Plane for about a year at this point. As you can see from the previews, the airport project is coming along quite nicely, with even the city being modelled for the simulator. We will have more news and previews coming soon, according to iBlueYonder.

iBlueYonder released Dallas Love Field for Microsoft Flight Simulator back in April 2023. We’ll keep you updated on progress for this new scenery project.
