The iniBuilds A380 Airliner is now upon us, as released a few hours ago. Whilst many of you have likely already downloaded the Double Decked Airbus aircraft and already flying across the world with the huge aircraft, there will be some of you looking to learn more about the plane before downloading it.
There are already plenty of resources out there in order for you to get to grips with the plane, but we wanted to highlight some of the resources iniBuilds has released. Namely, the manual, GSX profiles, a reduced-texture version of the plane, and more.
Downloading Liveries for the iniBuilds A380 Airliner
In order to download liveries for your new iniBuilds A380 Airliner, you will need to use the iniManager. Once you’ve installed the manager, from the home page, navigate to ‘Liveries’. Under the left scroll menu, scroll to the bottom until you find A380 Airliner and click. Here you will be able to see the currently available liveries to install.

Simply click ‘install’ on your desired livery and they will automatically download to your Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 folder.
Finding the Manual for the iniBuilds A380 Airliner
The A380 is a complex aircraft that requires a bit of study before you fly. Thankfully, iniBuilds has put together a detailed manual to help you get started and learn how the aircraft operates. Furthermore, the manual also gives you insight into the quality of life features iniBuilds has implemented with the aircraft.
You can grab the manual in PDF form via the iniBuilds forum.
SimBrief and GSX Profiles
As with any new aircraft to your hangar, it’s always worth adding both SimBrief and GSX profiles to your sim to ensure you have the best compatibility with those tools.
Both of these can be found on the iniBuilds forum.
- GSX Profile
- SimBrief Profile (Both EA and RR Engines)
Performance Optimisation and Reduced Texture Pack
If you’re struggling to run the iniBuilds A380 Airliner on your PC, then you may want to enable some performance optimisations. iniBuilds has included two performance options:
- Performance Mode: Hides the cabin whenever the cockpit door is closed. This has a high performance impact.
- FX Performance Mode: Disables particle effects, including wing and engine condensation. This is a low performance impact.
Both of these can be disabled via the onboard EFB.

For those struggling with VRAM or wants to have a lower resolution texture pack, you can download it from the iniManager. Simply search for “A380 Airliner Reduced Texture Pack” and install. This will reduce some visual details, but help those with less VRAM in their systems.
Other How-Tos for the iniBuilds A380 Airliner
iniBuilds has put together a massive FAQ on their forums in order to help customers get the most from the A380 Airliner. This includes throttle set-up, cabin interactivity, step-climbs, failure information, time compression, and much more.
