The freeware Boeing 787-9 upgrade package is now improved in v1.2.1 according to an update on the Orbx Discord page. The changelog includes changing the default runway flaps setting to 5, improved course tracking, viewpoints, pitch stability, and more. While the changes are relatively modest, any improvements that enhance an already free product are welcome.
For those that aren’t aware, Horizon Simulations Boeing 787-9 is a free upgrade package that enhances the existing 787 in Microsoft Flight Simulator including improved flight models, detailed cockpit upgrades, EFB, etc. It’s a nice upgrade for those of us eagerly waiting for a full-fledged 787 addon.
