The team at Horizon Simulations has provided a new update on its Discord in celebration of its 2nd anniversary. The update covers what is happening behind the scenes and what to begin expecting from the team moving forward.
QBit Simulations and Horizon Simulations
After many discussions, it was confirmed that QBit Simulations will now merge with Horizon Simulations into a single entity. No more news was shared, but this was an important announcement to prevent any future confusion.
Improvement Projects – LatinVFR, CaptainSim
Starting with the LatinVFR and FlyByWire Simulation mods, the team said that they are going to wait for the next stable version of FlyByWire’s A32NX before implementing any improvements to the LatinVFR set of products. As for CaptainSim products, the team is working hard to bring the Salty compatibility mod to the fleet of CaptainSim products (excluding the Boineg 767-300) in the near future.
Boeing Lineup
The Boeing aircraft being modded by Horizon Simulations comes with mixed news. The Boeing 747-8 mod has been making great progress, but no real news to share at this stage. The 787 series is also still progressing as you can see from the last set of previews.
To wrap up, Mark Szutor, Co-Founder and CEO of Horizon Sim, said “We have some more exciting news coming towards you soon. And we do hope that you’ll continue on with us on this incredible journey that we have been on so far. Thank you for your on-going and continued support.”
