Honeycomb Aeronautical has announced over their Facebook that pre-orders for their Alpha Flight Controls Yoke and Switch Panel will start tomorrow, August 7th at 4:00 PM PST. They’ve released a preview video of the product on their YouTube channel (the one that’s previewed in this article). Alpha Flight Controls will be shipping mid-September 2019. European Pre-Orders will be available from the Aerosoft website here.
The yoke will have a realistic 180 degree yoke rotation with a solid steel shaft and dual linear ball bearings that will allow for smooth control. The base includes a panel with master, alternator, avionics ad light switches as well as a 5 position ignition switch. Two clamps will secure the yoke on thinner tabletops but thicker tabletops will have a strong Micro-Suction pad to secure the yoke to the desk.
