Honeycomb Aeronautical, known for their Alpha Flight Controls, has shared some new proof of concept artwork for a new mouse pad attachment. After listening to feedback from the community about the amount space the Alpha Flight Controls and the upcoming Bravo Throttle Quadrant will use, Honeycomb Aeronautical has gone to the drawing board to find a solution.
As of right now, the concept is to add a small plate attachment under the Bravo Throttle Quadrant which will add a sturdy space for your mouse. Currently, this is a proof of concept and doesn’t represent a final design nor materials used to create this new plate. According to the team at Honeycomb Aeronautical, they are anticipating a price of $49.99 for the mouse pad, but this is subject to change depending on the costs associated.
As a reminder, the Bravo Throttle Quadrant is still in development and awaiting a slot in manufacturing for a release later this year. It is due to come with a range of customization options and also an Airbus package which will turn your throttles into something more akin to an Airbus aircraft cockpit. Alongside the Bravo Throttle Quadrant, a new set of rudder pedals will be released at some point. The Charlie rudder pedals were due to be announced at FlightSimExpo, but sadly that was cancelled due to the ongoing global pandemic.
