Flight sim hardware manufacturer Honeycomb Aeronautical has taken to Facebook to announce the start of pre-orders for their long-awaited Alpha Flight Controls XPC. Production of these units has now started, with the delay being reported as bottlenecks in development, component sourcing and logistics.
The new version brings a lot more than just Xbox compatibility. The yoke itself has been redesigned to discretely incorporate Xbox-specific buttons, although the overall look and feel of the product itself remains largely unchanged.

Under the skin, improvements have been made to the mechanics with the inclusion of new 12-Bit Hall Effect sensors which bring an impressive 400% increase in the aileron and elevator sensor resolution. Additionally, the front panel design now includes a new spring-loaded ignition key and Xbox buttons.
At 349.99 USD, the yoke is available for pre-order now from the Honeycomb Aeronautical store with orders shipping from the US/EU warehouse on the 15th of September.
Features:
- Xbox Series X/S and PC/Mac compatible
- New high-end 12-Bit Hall Effect sensors with 400% increased resolution
- New spring-loaded ignition key
- New front base design

Honeycomb Aeronautical have also started pre-orders for their new Xbox hub. Also available from the Honeycomb Aeronautical store at 39.99 USD, the hub enables Xbox connectivity with the Alpha XPC, all existing Bravo’s and the soon-to-be-released Charlie Rudder Pedals, and Logitech’s Flight Rudder pedals and USB Throttle Quadrant.

Finally, Honeycomb Aeronautical has issued an update to the pre-orders for their highly anticipated Charlie Rudder Pedals. Pre-orders will start on the 15th of July with shipping expected to start on the 15th of October. The pedals are priced at 349.99USD and again will be available from the Honeycomb Aeronautical store.
