A new trailer from AviatorCro has shared what the new custom cockpit will look like for Headwind Simulation’s A339X in Microsoft Flight Simulator. This is just phase 1 of 2 and the new video showcases many of the changes coming to the freeware project.
Headwind Simulations says that this isn’t a fully new model or a full A330 cockpit, but it showcases the improvements made by the team for this first phase. The third MCDU has been added, along with new lighting controls and the True North button for north reference. The design and texturing of the cockpit has been improved also.
Phase 2 of the new custom cockpit will include a redesigned overhead panel (hence its absence from the trailer), with systems also being implemented when the overhead panel is ready.
The first update for this new cockpit will be released sometime this month and will continue to be available for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 only.
We will keep you posted on any further information on the Headwind Simulations A339X.
