[Updated] Headwind A339X Custom Cockpit Update Now Available

It has been announced that the update for the Headwind A339x will be released on Friday, 24th January. In a brand new trailer from AviatorCo, we see comparisons of the old and new cockpit, along with confirmation of the release date.

We shared previews of the new cockpit coming to the Headwind Simulations A330neo earlier this month. During it, we learned that this isn’t a fully new model or a full A330 cockpit, but is a vast improvement over the old for this first phase. The third MCDU has been added, along with new lighting controls and the True North button for north reference. The design and texturing of the cockpit has been improved also.

Phase 2 of the new custom cockpit will include a redesigned overhead panel (hence its absence from the trailer), with systems also being implemented when the overhead panel is ready.

Expect it to be available later this week for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020.
