Happy Holidays from FSElite and a Happy New Year

A very happy holiday and new year from the whole FSElite team.

Happy Holidays from FSElite and a Happy New Year

As the year comes to an end, things are starting to wind down. The holidays are well and truly upon us, with gifts about to be unwrapped and plenty of time spent with family. Likewise, it’s also a great time to hop into the sim, try out some of those add-ons you’ve purchased or get reacquainted with some oldies too. Or perhaps, you’re brand new to the hobby after discovering flight simulation on PlayStation or on mobile with Infinite Flight. However you’re spending the holiday, we want you to enjoy it.

As for us, we plan on taking a bit of time for ourselves. Our team of volunteers have earned a well-deserved break from the daily grind of posting the latest in flight simulation. Some of us may be active in the next couple of weeks, posting what we can, but we hope you can understand if things are a little slower than usual as we spend time with our loved ones. That said, we have some originals and reviews lined up for the holiday break, so please look forward to them being published over the next couple of weeks.

Looking Back

Looking back, we’re thrilled that we were able to celebrate our 10th Anniversary. We celebrated in June at FSExpo with our 10th Anniversary Edition of our magazine, and then later in October with our FSElite party. It was a joy to celebrate with incredible people, but the celebrations aren’t over. It may not be our anniversary year in 2026, but we have some fun things lined up to keep the party going.

2025 was packed full of exciting content and coverage of everything in flight simulation. From our coverage of both major events, FSWeekend and FSExpo, to our daily news posting to keep you updated with the latest news. We’ve also had a big focus on hardware reviews this year, bringing you as much as possible on the latest physical goods that can make or break your at-home cockpit.

Looking Ahead to 2026

With flight simulation still an incredibly rich and vibrant hobby, we’re confident that 2026 will bring even more news and coverage your way. With the MSFS 2024 now on PS5, new hardware on the horizon, and fresh updates coming from X-Plane, there will be plenty to discuss.

As for our plans. Well, a new website is in the works, along with some incredibly creative content that pushes us beyond anything we’ve made before. That doesn’t include our plans for coverage at events in 2026, or other ways to engage with our amazing audience.

We’ll be heavily recruiting next year, too. We have some fun positions to fill, and we’ll be putting out a call-to-action in the new year to bring on some brand-new passionate people to our team. If being part of the flight simulation community sparks your interest, be sure to keep your eyes peeled for the types of roles we’ll be looking to recruit for next year.

Thank You

Of course, none of this would be at all possible without the support of our readers, viewers on YouTube, and our strong community of commenters. We see and read all your feedback and comments, always working to grow and be better for you. After 10 years, we’re still feeling the love from you all and want to continue to work hard to make our coverage more robust than ever.

Also, a massive thank you to our advertising partners, sponsors and all the publishers and developers we work with. By you providing us with press releases, content, and making products for flight simulation, we wouldn’t be here today. Please continue to make amazing stuff and share the goodies with us, so we can talk about it!

On behalf of the entire FSElite team, we would like to wish you all a very happy holiday and New Year. Here’s to 2026!
