Last week, FSElite attended FSWeekend and went hands-on with the all-new Aerosoft A330 Professional. Whilst the aircraft is still in beta testing, the Aerosoft team took it to the show to let people finally have a go on the long-haul Airbus we have all been waiting so long for.
During this 20-minute hands-on, Daan was thrown into the deep end to land the aircraft at Gran Canaria. With no prior experience with the aircraft, it took him a while to get used to the functionality and controls. Regardless, we both did our best to give you a very raw and unedited first impression.
All of our commentary is our immediate reaction to what we saw and felt. Once we get a copy of the aircraft, we will of course do a direct-feed recording and also provide a much deeper look into the aircraft product.
Disclaimer: We recorded this off-screen so appreciate that the screen is a little washed out. We set up the camera, plugged in the mic and hit record. The only edit for the footage was a transition near the end when we had to restart the recording on the camera due to a limitation of the camera used.
