A new update for GSX has been released, bringing new towing functionality alongside a range of usability improvements and fixes.
The biggest change with this new update is push-in towing, allowing a towbarless tug to move aircraft from taxiways directly to a selected gate with automatic routing. This is complemented by a new gate-to-gate towing option, enabling aircraft to be pushed back and transferred between stands, with GSX selecting the most appropriate pushback direction.
Usability has also been improved, with adjustable pushback speed now available via the settings menu, and a new back navigation option across GSX menus for smoother interaction. Additional enhancements include updates to the handler script editor, offering improved workflow for advanced users.
For GSX Pro customers, the update introduces seated passenger support for the PMDG 737-700 passenger variant in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, further enhancing immersion during turnaround operations. It also fixes a bug whereby GSX previously incorrectly identified the 737-700 as the 737-800.
A wide range of fixes have also been included, addressing issues with parking data, aircraft detection, SimBrief integration, and various stability problems during ground handling and service operations.
You can get the update from the FSDreamTeam installer. If you haven’t already purchased GSX, you can do so from their site here. Here is the full changelog.
