It has been a short while since we last saw FSDreamTeam’s GSX in Microsoft Flight Simulator being previewed, but Umberto from the team took to YouTube to give a short teaser video of the product in use.
In the short two-minute video, we see GSX in action within the simulator. The video starts with the GSX menu being pulled up and a pushback sequence activated. If you’re familiar with GSX from FSX/P3D, then the menu will look familiar. Users will then select the handling operator before the tug is then spawned into the simulator. Next, we see the animated human attach the wheel pin, before then adjusting the tug itself in preparation for the pushback.
The preview then shows the user having to select the direction for the pushback. Once the parking brake has been turned off, the pushback begins and we can see the animations clearly.
The video makes it clear that the product is still very much in a ‘work-in-progress’ state, but it’s great to see GSX continuing development for Microsoft Flight Simulator. We know that this tool for P3D users is extremely useful, so hopefully, it does the same in the new simulator.
