GotFriends seems to have had a pretty positive reception to the recent launch of their AS 33 ME sailplane for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020/24, and is continuing to build on that momentum with a big update announced on Sunday.
The updates cover the AS 33 ME and Discus 2C sailplanes, with the patch applying to both the 2020 and 2024 versions of each product.
The AS 33 Me benefits from an overhauled flight model to meet real-life polar curves, overhauled sounds, a new full throttle sequencing option on the stowable propeller, as well as a range of fixes to some widely reported bugs. These include, but are not limited to, fixes for slew mode causing excessive drag buildup, the electrical motor bus arming system, speed-to-fly curves, and power issues on the LX avionics suite.
The Discus sees a shorter changelog solely comprising fixes and 2 minor updates, one for the new LX Family 2.2.0 and another small tweak to the 3D model for synchronisation between FS20/24.
A full changelog is available on the studio’s Discord.
