Got Friends, the developer known for a mix of different addon offerings ranging from warbirds to gliders, helicopters to even a canoe, has announced the addition of Project Crosskart to their eccentric lineup.
This isn’t your run-of-the-mill car addon though. According to a post on their Discord channel, Project Crosskart will feature an actual ground vehicle motor simulation where power from an implemented automatic gearbox can be directly applied to both rear wheels. This will have realistic torque curves, proper gear shifting, and custom-built brake physics… You can even make it drift apparently.
Will this open doors to more robust simulation of ground vehicles? Only time will tell but until then stay tuned to FSElite for more coverage as additional details are revealed.
