Godzone has released its first product for Microsoft Flight Simulator; Taieri Airfield (NZTI). This small airfield located on the Taieri Plains sits just west of Dunedin Airport in New Zealand. Featuring two grass runways, the airport sees a lot of general aviation and helicopter traffic. The local flying schools date back to 1927, so there’s a rich history at the airfield.
Built to ‘Real New Zealand’ standards, the new product comes with a number of features including 15cm aerial imagery, a number of 3D objects and plenty of airport clutter to bring it to life. The developer says that the product is finished, but could be updated in the future when the SDK improves or adds more functionality. No formal feature list was given.
