GazSim has released the home airport of Antonov Design Bureau, Hostomel Airport (UKKM). The airport is located just northwest of Kyiv, and housed the An-225, which was destroyed in the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Luckily, with thanks to Microsoft and iniBuilds, this impressive aircraft has recently taken to the virtual skies of MSFS.
GazSim’s rendition of the airport shows it during better times, with an undamaged airport with animating hangar doors, recreated taxiways and signage and an added ILS. The scenery features a trip down memory lane with plenty of historic Antonov aircraft lined up as a little museum. Also included are animated vehicles driving around the airport, as well as animated personnel in some locations.
GazSim’s Hostomel Airport is available for $15.18 AUD from Orbx Direct, and will be coming to the Marketplace soon according to the developer.
