Scenery developer GayaSimulations are proudly in full swing after their surprise cross-announcement with Orbx who are working closely with the team. With their recently announced LFLJ Courchevel Altiport for X-Plane 11, the team also recently announced they would be bringing Vienna (LOWW) to both P3D and X-Plane. Along with new previews for Vienna, GayaSimulations also shared roadmap details for future products.
The first airport on the release radar for GayaSimulations will be East Midlands (EGNX), which will be published via Orbx. The airport is currently in the final stages of completion for P3D after the initial release on X-Plane 11. Once released, we will let you know.
Following that release will most likely be Courchevel. Again, this airport will be published by Orbx. You can view the full preview of the product in our previous post.
Yet another Orbx published airport, developed by GayaSimualtions, will be Meribel Airport (LFKX). Another airport that is in the final stages of completion, with beta testing due to start in a few days time.
As for Vienna LOWW, the team are hoping to release the airport in November for both Prepar3D and X-Plane 11. Additionally, the team also confirmed that they are working on two other airports, which have not yet been revealed in full. One is described as a “major airport” for both P3D and X-Plane 11, and the other starts its IATA code with an “L”. Again, this airport will be coming to both platforms.
That’s the roadmap from GayaSimulations. The team said that they are currently 35 full-time members strong with a focus on ensuring quality and performance matches the expectations for the community, as well as delivering products in a good time frame.
As we hear more information, we’ll be sure to keep you informed.
