Gaya Simulations Vienna Update and Prepar3D v5 Previews

Gaya Simulations has provided us with a huge range of screenshots for an upcoming update of their Vienna Airport scenery on Prepar3D v5. The new update follows on from the last major update, which we’ll also shed light on within this article.

Gaya Simulations Vienna Update and Prepar3D v5 Previews

The new previews provided showcase Vienna Airport (LOWW) in the new simulator from Lockheed Martin from a variety of angles and locations. From the terminal buildings to sweeping overviews of the apron. Alongside the views, the previews showcase improvements to the dynamic lighting and also the seasonal variation that came with the recently released 1.2 update.

In terms of the new update, version 1.2’s biggest new feature is the addition of new hard winter snow textures around the airport and surrounding areas. Furthermore, the update improves the AFCAD, fixes the various parts of the mesh and adds taxiway green lights. This update is currently ready to apply via Orbx Central for Prepar3D v4 users, with an X-Plane 11 update coming soon.

If you haven’t done so, you can pick up Gaya Simulation’s LOWW Vienna Airport from Orbx for $49.95 AUD (US$31.89 | €29,50 | £25.80). Don’t forget, if you are in the Fastlane for Orbx Central, you can now pay with PayPal.
