Gaya Simulations has released its latest rendition of Corfu International Airport (LGKR) for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020.
The scenery originally arrived for MSFS 2024 back in July, having been completely rebuilt from the ground up rather than being an update to Gaya’s much older rendition of the Greek airport. Now, those sticking with MSFS 2020 can also get their hands on the new version.
Gaya’s rendition features an up-to-date airport layout, custom ground textures and markings, detailed terminal modelling and plenty of custom assets across both the airside and landside areas.
There is also quite a bit beyond the airport itself. Kanoni Viewpoint, Panagia Vlacherna Monastery, Corfu National Stadium and the famous planespotting area have all been recreated. Animated boats can also be seen around the lagoon, alongside custom water rendering designed to better represent the shallow waters and coastline surrounding the airport. Other details include animated airport vehicles, custom ground equipment and a bespoke night environment.
