Gaya Simulations Publishes Additional Kristiansand Previews

Announced initially during Gaya Simulations ’20-’21 Roadmap reveal back in mid-November, the scenery development studio has recently provided keen followers with new preview images of its upcoming Kristiansand Airport scenery for MSFS via a post on its official Facebook page.

Kristiansand Kjevik Airport (ENCN) is an international airport situated on the southern tip of the Norwegian peninsula and mainly serves the municipality of Kristiansand and surrounding Adger county. Kjevik originally opened its doors in 1939, only the second airport to do so in all of Norway, and began commercial operations on June 1st, 1939, with Dutch carrier KLM doing the honors of being the first to burn rubber on the newly opened airfield.

On an interesting side note, due to the airport’s runways being located close to the sea, Kristiansand Kjevik Airport is the only facility in Norway equipped with an engineered materials arrestor system at the end of each runway, set to reduce the severity of a potential runway excursion.

Following their recent roadmap reveal, Gaya Simulations has now taken to Facebook and has shared several new previews regarding this scenery’s continued development progress. Although not providing an official feature list, looking at the shared screenshots, it certainly seems as though this product will once again live up to previously set Gaya Simulations quality standards.

On a final note, the developer also acknowledged that the scenery, following its initial release for MSFS, will eventually make its way over to the P3D platform. No pricing information was made available by the developer at this stage.

As always, we shall keep you updated when this highly anticipated product will hit the shelves. Until then, feel free to check out Gaya Simulations’ original Facebook post linked here.
