Gaya Simulations has announced that its recently released Corfu International Airport (LGKR) will be coming to Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020. The scenery was originally developed for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, but Gaya is now adapting the airport for the previous-generation simulator.
According to the developer, the decision comes down to the continued number of people using MSFS 2020. Although Gaya acknowledges that the older simulator no longer represents the largest part of the market, it believes there is still a meaningful community worth supporting when bringing a product across is technically practical.

That doesn’t mean Gaya is shifting its focus back to MSFS 2020. The developer was particularly keen to stress that Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 remains its primary platform and receives the “vast majority” of its development resources. As such, the MSFS 2020 version of Corfu is being handled without taking development resources away from either existing or upcoming MSFS 2024 products.
Alongside the Corfu announcement, Gaya also provided a small update on its next major airport project. Vienna International Airport (LOWW) is said to now be at a “very advanced stage of development”, with the team seemingly pleased with the level of quality being achieved.
Vienna isn’t the only project underway either. Gaya says several additional airports are currently in production, with announcements expected in the near future. No release date or pricing information has yet been provided for the MSFS 2020 edition of Corfu International Airport.
