Gaya Simulations has announced that it is returning to one of its earliest airport projects with the reveal of LOWW Vienna Airport: Reboot for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
The original Vienna Airport was one of the developer’s first major scenery releases for Microsoft Flight Simulator. Now, the team is revisiting the airport, but stresses that this is far more than a simple update.
Rather than converting or remastering the existing scenery, LOWW Vienna Airport: Reboot is being rebuilt entirely from the ground up exclusively for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. According to Gaya Simulations, every terminal, building, texture, material, and airport detail is being recreated using the experience and techniques the studio has developed since the original release.
The developer says the new airport will feature a fully up-to-date representation of Vienna International Airport, making full use of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024’s technology while delivering improved visual fidelity and performance.
No release date or pricing has been announced, but LOWW Vienna Airport: Reboot is in development exclusively for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. We’ll keep you updated as Gaya Simulations shares further previews and development updates.
