Further Previews of Orbx Pearson Field for X-Plane

Although it was confirmed back in May that Bill Womack would be bringing his excellent Pearson Field to X-Plane, Aimee from Orbx released a bunch of new previews and information regarding the product via the forums.

Already available for FSX/P3D, Pearson Field airport is a great spot for GA pilots looking to visit some historic landmarks and points of interest. As per usual Orbx fashion, there’s a bunch of POIs for you to explore upon release, including Jantzen Beach, Fort Vancouver and the I-5 bridge over the Columbia river. This has been created using the latest technology in X-Plane offering user’s a immersive experience.

Upon release, FSX/P3D users will be entitled to a 40% discount. Otherwise, the package will cost you AUD $32.95.

  • I-5 bridge over the Columbia river
  • Railroad bridge to the north of I-5 bridge
  • Jantzen Beach, Oregon shopping center
  • Downtown Vancouver, featuring the round Smith Tower (used as a VFR landmark on which to base turns to/from KVUO)
  • Fort Vancouver
