Over on their Facebook page, Just Flight has shared some new work in progress previews of their upcoming PA28-181 Archer III, which is soon to be made available for X-Plane 11.
The new previews showcase the range of material PBR textures both internally and externally to the aircraft, as well as the high definition texturing.
Further to the previews, the product page has been given a run-down of the features the final product will include. Users can expect everything from a fully immersive and detailed cockpit with 3D gauges with smooth animation, and a fully functional IFR kit (including the GNS550). It will also include numerous accurately modeled aircraft systems such as a custom coded fuel and electrical system, vapor lock conditions and foul spark plugs.

Aircraft systems

Circuit breaker logic is linked to X-Plane’s internal failure logic, so if the plane is set to fail a certain electrical component after a certain number of hours, the circuit breaker for that element will pop out.
- Realistic landing gear with slow/fast tyre rotation animation (blurry when rotating fast), precise shock absorber animation and wheel chocks and tie-downs
- Functioning carburettor and primer controls
