With the Fenix Simulations A320 for Microsoft Flight Simulator now in Beta testing, things seem to be progressing fast for the development team. To kick-start the weekend, Aamir from Fenix Simulations shared a few new cockpit images.
These new images shared on Discord represent some very close-up shots of the cockpit. We can see parts of the autopilot control panel, the MCDU and more. All of the images also show the material texturing used that closely represents that in a real-world Airbus aircraft.
You can also see how the light bounces off the material, which then highlights scratches, marks and other signs of wear and tear. There is a clear amount of effort to make the cockpit look as authentic as possible.
The Fenix Simulations A320 is already one of the most anticipated aircraft in Microsoft Flight Simulator and this slow drip of previews continues to build the excitement. The recent sound preview video certainly helped to give a more detailed look into how the aircraft was progressing.
When we last heard from the development team, Aamir from Fenix Simulations updated their blog and said, “we are now significantly closer to something that feels like an actual product – with updates and fixes being smaller and less impactful overall than the months prior.”
