FSWidgets, the developer behind the popular applications QuickPlan and GMap, recently released Navigator, a ForeFlight-equivalent app designed for various flight simulators.
Navigator offers flight simmers a feature-rich and intuitive way to track flight simulator flights on a variety of Apple devices. The app was built using the Apple Maps SDK, allowing for an easy-to-navigate user experience. In addition, Navigator incorporates key airport information, US NEXRAD precipitation data, and worldwide cloud, pressure, and wind data. Finally, FSWidgets has enabled supported for all the major flight simulators, including MSFS, P3D, FSX, X-Plane, and Aerofly FS.
FSWidgets’ Navigator is now available on the Apple App Store for $29.99. The app is compatible with all iPhones and iPads running IOS 16 or later and Macs with the M1 chip or later. To ensure proper connectivity, users must download FSWidgets Connect and ensure their device and flight simulator are on the same wifi network.
