FSWeekend 2026 is only a few months away, and we have the first details about the upcoming European event. Each year, FSWeekend attracts nearly 5,000 visitors to the Aviodrome Aviation Museum in Lelystad, the Netherlands. 2026 promises to be an even better show, following feedback from exhibitors and attendees in the past.
According to the team, for 2026, they are adding capacity and upgrading presentation quality to enhance the experience for all. “We listened carefully to exhibitors and visitors after our recent editions,” said Niels Voogd, Chairman of the FlightSimWeekend Foundation. “For 2026, we are adding capacity and
upgrading presentation quality so every showcase feels professional and every visitor can discover more in less time.”
By expanding the exhibitor space and providing improved experiences, the team hope to see even more exhibitors and attendees than ever before.
“This expansion represents a new chapter for FlightSimWeekend,” added Jannes van Gestel,
Finance & Operations Lead. “Our community is growing rapidly, and we want to give both
hobbyists and industry leaders—coming from across Europe and beyond—the space they
deserve to inspire the next generation of sim pilots.”
As with previous years, there will be a range of developers and exhibitors at the show. Already, a large number of spaces have been booked up. Navigraph, Honeycomb Aeronautical and iniBuilds are confirmed partners for 2026.
Magnus Lorvik, Senior Accounts & Projects Manager, noted the enhanced visitor experience:
“We are focusing on exhibits that surprise and engage. The new hall allows us to bring in
cutting-edge hardware, interactive demos and more content that will keep visitors exploring all
weekend.
Social Highlights
Beyond the exhibitor floor, get ready for plenty of social activity in 2026. Building on the success of last year’s Captain’s Dinner, it will return again in 2026. During the dinner, the Flight Sim Awards will also be hosted. More details and tickets for these events will be available at a later date.
New for 2026 is FlightSimWeekend ‘After Dark’. This is a chance for anyone at the show to take part in networking and socialising after the show. Taking place on Saturday evening, this will be a great opportunity for anyone to feel connected to the community like never before. Tickets for this will be available at a later date.
FSElite Stage
We’re also thrilled to announce that the FSElite Stage will return for a third year in a row at FSWeekend. The FSElite Stage will be your home for big announcements, seminars from developers, and other fantastic surprises. The whole event will be livestreamed. More details will come soon.
