Marten Krull from Flightsim Studios took to the FSElite stage at Flight Sim Expo 2026 on Saturday to preview new projects.

He started the presentation by highlighting that as the company has expanded, they’ve gained more resources, knowledge, and experience to create higher fidelity addons for Microsoft Flight Simulator.f

The Tecnam P2012 V2 is currently in testing as a native MSFS 2024 variant and features modeling, systems, and sound upgrades. It is serving as Flightsim Studios’ testbed for MSFS2024 technology.

Following the release of the P2012, Flightsim Studios will use the same base for the P2006.

The 727 will be rebuilt as an MSFS 2024 native product with improved textures, new features, and an ADV variant.

E-Jets Version 1.0 is coming as a feature-complete variant and will feature a fully custom made, smooth autopilot. It will be released to experimental beta-testing at the end of next week, with a final release due before the end of the 2026.

Once version 1.0 is released, FSS is planning on releasing a free, MSFS24-native upgrade to the E-Jets.

FSS Announces New Airplane

With a sigh of relief that the community isn’t getting another Airbus, Flight Sim Studio announced the team is working on a TU-154 for MSFS 2024.

The project is the result of a dedicated joint collaboration between FSS and Anatolii Iakmets, an enthusiast and systems developer whose lifelong connection to the Tu-154M drives an exceptional level of authenticity and dedication to the project.

The team is currently in an active mid-development phase, focusing on key pillars of quality: refinement of the 3D model, high-fidelity texturing, deep systems integration, and rigorous testing. Every detail, from the distinctive trijet silhouette to the intricate cockpit instrumentation, is being crafted with care and precision to deliver an experience that honors the legacy of this legendary aircraft.

Anatolii Iakmets has devoted over four years to this project, bringing with him a deep personal passion for the Tu-154M that goes far beyond simming.
