FSLabs Updates A321 to Include Working Weather Radar and Improved Hardware Integration

A new update from FSLabs for its A321ceo on Microsoft Flight Simulator has been released. The update focuses on enhancing the overall stability of the product, along with introducing two key updates; functional weather radar and improved hardware integration.

The update, version v11.0.1.292, includes a host of quality-of-life improvements, along with large updates that improves the “realism and functionality” of the A321ceo, according to FlightSimLabs founder Lefteris. He said that they have listened to customer feedback and improved system integration, enhanced smoother performance and more reliable behaviour in various scenarios.

Functioning Weather Radar

The biggest change with the update comes in the form of a new working WXR-2100 weather radar. They have seamlessly integrated the Rockwell Collins system with the built-in weather system in MIcrosoft Flight Simulator. According to Lefteris, “The radar functionality has been meticulously designed to interact with the live weather environment in Microsoft Flight Simulator, ensuring that pilots can experience accurate radar returns that reflect real-world conditions.”

You will be able to use auto-tilt adjustments and customise the range settings which will give you the chance to plan accordingly in flight to avoid bad conditions. The results of what the weather radar picks up will be displayed on your navigation display, just as it would on the real plane.

Improved Hardware Integration

Alongside the enhancements to the software itself, FSLabs has also worked to expand its hardware integration with the A321ceo. The product will now work with WInWing, MiniCockpit, WingFlex and other products. FSLabs has expanded the LVARs list and events table so that those with hardware can now better use it with their A321ceo in Microsoft Flight Simulator.
