FSHud – Air Traffic Control Expands Airport Configuration Manager With New Update

FSHud has released a new update for FSHud – Air Traffic Control, expanding the capabilities of its Airport Configuration Manager with additional options for runway operations, parking management, and airport procedures.

The update, now available in the production version of the software, gives users greater control over how individual airports operate inside the simulator. With the expanded configuration tools, airport behaviour can be customised in a more detailed way to better reflect real-world operations or personal preferences.

Runway configuration now allows users to define runway-in-use priority, close specific runways, schedule runway usage by week, and restrict operations by aircraft category such as piston, turboprop, or jet traffic. Parking configuration has also been enhanced, enabling users to adjust airline codes, parking type and size, restrict stands by aircraft category, and choose whether parking positions are available for user or AI aircraft. You can see this happening in the video below.

The update also introduces more control over airport procedures. Users can now deactivate or schedule specific SIDs, STARs, and approaches, and restrict procedures by aircraft type, allowing for more tailored arrival and departure flows.

According to FSHud, the update significantly expands the scope of Airport Configuration Manager, with further enhancements planned as development continues.

Alongside the feature update, pricing has also been adjusted. A full FSHud – Air Traffic Control license is now priced at $25 USD (one-off payment), while the MSFS 2024 upgrade license costs $12.25 USD. Existing users receive the Airport Configuration Manager update as a free addition.
