Before I even begin, I just want to point out that this is completely a speculation piece, based on facts and other insights (backed up with proof). Nothing here is “insider” knowledge. With that, enjoy the speculation.
Yesterday, we took an in-depth look into the possibilities of what the BIG announcement from FSFX Packages could be when they stream live on September 21st. Well, thanks to Tom B, we think we have the answer.
As we suggested in our article yesterday. It’s looking almost guaranteed the new product will be an EZDOK replacement for both FSX and P3D.
Tom B tipped us off to this really interesting forum post, hosted over at TheSkyLounge. At this point, it’s worth noting that TheSkyLounge already has official sponsorship with FSFX, so if anyone is privy to information, it’s probably these guys.
For some time now we’ve been advising you to skip on EZDOK and hold on to your cash. Our Patrons have know a little more than most as a perk, and recently I streamed a glimpse LIVE on Twitch providing the public with perspectives never-before seen in flight sim. The wait is almost over…

Although not definitive proof, it’s highly likely that this is correct, as I doubt that they would want to spread rumours around a sponsor of theirs.
Interestingly enough, if you watch the Twitch stream, you can see that they’re testing a product, which focuses extensively on the viewing system itself. Everything from hands-free view switches and realistic landing camera effects. This certainly isn’t something that any camera controls I know of already available.
Of course, we won’t know 100% for sure until September 21st, however, I strongly believe this is the most likely outcome now.
