FSDG (Flight Sim Development Group) has confirmed to us that they are bringing Heraklion Airport (LGIR) to X-Plane 11. This is another airport from the Flight Sim Development Group library that will be ported to the platform.
FSDG released Heraklion Airport through Aerosoft back in 2012, but this new product from the team has been updated with new modern techniques and uses many features that X-Plane 11 provides. No specific details were given about what to expect, but the single screenshot shared with us highlights the attention to detail they’re hoping to bring to the product.
The release is due any day now according to the developer. Once we hear some new details, we will be sure to let you know.
