Developers FlyTampa shared a sneaky image earlier on today via Facebook, with little else to go along with it. Fortunately, the team were kind enough to share a series of brand new previews for their upcoming AthensXP, along with some new details. Furthermore, Prepar3D users will be pleased to also hear that we have some of the first details on a brand new version coming later this year of the Greek airport.
Starting with the X-Plane 11 version, we can tell you that the airport will feature X-Plane exclusive features such as completely custom mesh so that it blends in with the surrounding landclass, along with SAM animated jetways, marshallers and docking signs. Furthermore, the new AthensXP from FlyTampa will also feature dynamic lighting and animated traffic throughout.
As for a release, FlyTampa has sad that it should be made available to users soon, subject to everything going well.
Prepar3D users, don’t fret as a new fresh update for Athens will be made available from FlyTampa. The update will feature all-new HD ground textures and PBR materials. The update is planned to be released later this year.
