We’ve been covering Airworthy Designs for a little while now as they shape up their rendition of St Martin in X-Plane 11. As they turn onto the short final of development, the developers gave us exclusive access to some incredible images from all around the airport scenery. Everything from Maho Beach, hotels and bars to airport hangers and jetways has been designed in impressive 4K texture work.
Most surfaces use PBR reflections to create a really immersive environment and shortly after release there will be an update that will add animations and compatibility with 3rd party AI traffic.
We’re excited to see this release in X-Plane 11. Once it’s out, we’ll let you know.
