Scenery developer Flight Sim Development Group has updated its Mauritius scenery for FSX and P3D to version 1.2.
Mauritius is a small island located off the East coast of Africa known for its exotic flora and fauna, including the now-extinct dodo, and is home to just over 1.2 million people. The airport itself handles over 3.5 million passengers a year and is the home hub for Air Mauritius. Airlines such as Air France, British Airways and Emirates also fly to and from Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport. Emirates even operate two A380 flights daily to Dubai from Mauritius.
FSDG has spent some time to remaster their original scenery to include PBR texturing for P3Dv4 only, improved lighting and upgraded terminal textures. There are several bug fixes coming with the latest update as well. You can find the changelog below.
If you have purchased FSDG’s Mauritius scenery before June 2019, you will be able to download the update via a link you will find in the old shop database. If you have purchased the scenery through other stores you should be able to access the update early next week. Alternatively, if you don’t currently own the scenery and wish to purchase the whole island of Mauritius for FSX and P3D, you can find it on the FSDG store for €28.56 which is around £24.70/$31.97.
