This stunning part of the world has been recreated for Microsoft Flight Simulator thanks to the team at Flight Dim Development Group (FSDG). In this new package, all of the islands that form Seychelles has been included, along with detailed renditions of the major airports and local airstrips. Located in the Indian Ocean, this tropical paradise is a great place to visit in the simulator thanks to its scenic vistas, interesting terrain and numerous areas of natural beauty.
Each island has been given extensive coverage with realistic modelling and terrain details added thanks to the custom aerial imagery included. Furthermore, reefs around each of the island have been added for a truly authentic effect. For those taking the bigger jets to the region, you will find a detailed rendition of Seychelles International Airport (FSIA) that comes complete with optional static aircraft, PBR texturing and highly detailed modelling. In addition, Praslin Regional Airport (FSPP) has been included if you wanted to do some short island hops in something smaller.
Those of you after a bit more of an exploration in the region can test out any of the included 14 airstrips across many of the islands. Soar over many of the hotel resorts and other points of interest included with the scenery product. Despite the detail, FSDG says that the airport has great performance.
You can buy FSDG’s Seychelles for Microsoft Flight Simulator from their website for €29,75 (19 % VAT incl.). Only those in the EU can buy from FSDG’s store and it will be made available through partner stores soon for customers outside of the EU.
Finally, for those that use the Prepar3D version of the scenery package, a new version has been uploaded to your account which features many visual and performance improvements.
