It’s been over two years since FSDG shared a roadmap that made mention of Casablanca. We didn’t hear much about this project ever since then, but now it’s finally here: Casablanca Mohammed V International Airport (GMMN).
Casablanca is located in Morocco and has a large number of destinations all around the world. The airport serves airlines flying to various places in Africa, Europe and even a small number of destinations in North and South America, as well as Asia. The airport is a hub for Air Arabia Maroc, Royal Air Maroc and Royal Air Maroc Express. Historically, the airport was built by the United States in 1943 to aid with the North Africa campaign, and after that changed name and purpose a few times, until it got its current name in the late 1950’s. The airport is the busiest airport in Morocco, and the fourth busiest airport in the whole of Africa.
FSDG has made an accurate and high detailed rendition of the airport and its surroundings. It includes the airport’s new terminal and ground layout, and comes with features such as animated ground vehicles and support for SODE/GSX jetways. The scenery is compatible with FSX and Prepar3D v3 & v4, and is available through FSDG’s own website for €18.
