FS2Crew has issued new updates for both Ultimate Ground Crew X and also its QualityWings 787 product. The new update brings Ulitemate Ground Crew X to version 2.0, with the QualityWings 787 package now on version 1.2.
The new version of Ultimate Ground Crew X is fairly significant as it now introduces the Freeze method for pushback, which is beneficial for those using PMDG or the Majestic Dash 8. As described in the forum post on Avsim, this will move the aircraft by essentially slewing it, rather than physically pushing it. In addition, various fixes have also been made including to the Canadian language selection, marshalling onto stand and more. Another new feature includes the ability to add aircraft offset to help define the final stop position when pulling onto the stand.
The QualityWings 787 update is minor simply only having a couple of updates. The details are down below.
Both are ready to download and update now. Simply download the installer and run the package again to add the update to your existing installation.
You can buy Ultimate Ground Crew X and QualityWings 787 packages from FS2Crew website.

- Majestic Dash 8 Support. You can now Push the Dash 8 back!
- New “Freeze” pushback method option. (PMDG users seem to benefit most from it).
- Fixed Add-on.xml file reader.
- Add option to ‘exclude’ scenery areas such as heliports.
- Fixed Add-on.xml file reader exception handling.
- Fixed cache loader to read only airports with runways, not heliports.
- Fixed Top-down view issue with Window 10 animations.
- Fixed Canada language selection.
- Fixed and improved marshalling onto stand guidance.
- Fixed rare cases where the tow bar would disconnect visually from tug and nosewheel.

- New feature to scan the nearest airport’s ICAO name to improve scenery cache loading speed.
- Added a small window to allow users to move the marshaller’s location during the following ground services. This is useful if the marshaller is ever place inside a building so you can’t see him.
- Engine startup by hand signals
- Marshalling onto stand operations
- Follow me car
