If you’re a Microsoft Flight Simulator addict who shops for scenery, aircraft or utilities across multiple stores, v2.0 of FSAddonCompare just turned the price-comparison tool into a full-blown organiser and planning app for your sim collection.
What started as a simple way to scan prices across SimMarket, Orbx, Just Flight, Aerosoft, and more has now evolved into something a lot deeper, a custom hub where you can track what you own, what you want, and when it’s on sale.
The headline feature in v2.0 is user accounts. This gives you a personalised dashboard where all of your activity lives, including tracking owned addons and where you bought them, your wishlist and notifications when your wishlist items drop in price.
The new library feature lets you track what you already own, so you don’t accidentally buy it again from another store, including when and what store you bought it from. Ratings and reviews have now been added, allowing you to give addons 1–5 stars, leave written feedback, and view others.
The interactive airport map also gets some upgrades; you can now filter the world view by items in your Library or Wishlist, making it easier than ever to plan where to fly next and what scenery you’re looking for.
Lastly, the Pricing & UI/UX feature redesigned pricing displays, with discount percentages and previous prices shown more clearly, and pagination, filters, and list layouts refined.
