A number of improvements have been released for a range of FS2Crew products, including the recently released FS2Crew RAAS.
The biggest point of interest is the fact that FS2Crew’s RAAS for Microsoft Flight Simulator is now compatible with handcrafted airports that were ‘encrypted’ by the simulator. FS2Crew says you can now create ‘custom profiles’ for these airports by manually defining the runways. Additionally, users can import, create and share these profiles in order for them to work correctly.
Another piece of exciting news is that they are now working on FS2Crew for the Aerosoft CRJ. This is now in ‘full production’ and a release is expected in 3 to 4 weeks. The CRJ was delayed due to the fact that FS2Crew wanted to have the ‘perfect system’ in place before taking it on. Thanks to the development of the A32NX FBW version of their product, they feel they have achieved just this. Expect to see more of this in the coming weeks as the product picks up the development pace.
Outside of these announcements, FS2Crew also said that FS2Crew Pushback Express and FlybyWire A32NX have both been updated. You can find out more on those updates via their changelog. If you’re looking to update, just run the FS2Crew desktop application.
Finally, Ultimate Ground Crew X for FSX and P3D has seen a new update to version 2.4.
Once we learn more from FS2Crew about the upcoming Aerosoft CRJ, we’ll be sure to let you know.
