A new version of FS2Crew’s Pushback Express was made available in the week that provided improvements and new features to the utility product.
The newest version of FS2Crew Pushback Express now includes support for virtual reality headsets. Users who have VR set up on their systems can now use the in-sim toolbar to directly interact with the FS2Cre Command Center. This means the experience is a lot more seamless than it was before.
Furthermore, FS2Crew has now added a new Distance Pushback Mode which will place a visual flag (being a marshaller model) on the target taxiway. This will help users navigate to the taxiway location when the tug automatically starts the pushback. According to the developer, “It’s not 100 percent automatic, though, users will still need to enter an offset value for their aircraft), but it’s much better than the old system.”
All of these updates can now be downloaded through the public beta program. Owners will have been sent the link in order to download the public beta software.
If you don’t already own FS2Crew’s Pushback Express, you can pick up a copy from FS2Crew’s website.
