FS Addon Compare has released a new browser extension. The website aims at simplify the shopping process for MSFS users by offering key purchasing data up front, without the need to manually search across different vendors. It shows pricing currently and historically, along with some basic ratings for each product release.
The new browser extension currently supports a number of popular stores including Aerosoft, Contrail, Orbx, Simmarket, Just Flight, iniBuilds, Flightsim.com, and Flightsim.to. It also supports the MSFS Marketplace via the (unofficial) web version. Once installed, the extension highlights if a product is on sale, displays the best available price, and provides direct comparisons between storefronts. It also includes icons for store recommendations and FSA membership discounts where applicable.
Beyond pricing, FS Addon Compare adds helpful metadata such as ICAO codes, developer names, average user ratings, and a compatibility tag indicating whether the product supports MSFS 2020, 2024, or both. A “Show Similar” button allows users to quickly find related add-ons for a given airport or region. Currency conversion is handled automatically, with support for USD, EUR, GBP, AUD, and CAD.
The extension is available for Chrome, Firefox, and Edge. At the time of writing, the latest Firefox version (1.1.2) was released on July 8, 2025. Users can install it directly from the official site or the browser extension stores.
