FlyTampa appears to be teasing Princess Juliana International Airport (TNCM) in St Maarten for Microsoft Flight Simulator.
The developer recently updated its Facebook cover image with a new screenshot showing what appears to be the Sonesta Ocean Point Resort, located alongside Maho Bay and just metres from the airport. No accompanying details were shared, but the location has naturally led to speculation that a new St Maarten scenery is in development. Princess Juliana is, of course, best known for its spectacular Runway 10 approach over Maho Beach, making it one of the most recognisable airports in the world.
It would be a familiar destination for FlyTampa. The developer previously released St Maarten scenery for older simulators and even previewed a new version for Microsoft Flight Simulator shortly after the simulator’s launch in 2020.
For now, FlyTampa hasn’t officially confirmed St Maarten, nor which version of Microsoft Flight Simulator the scenery could be intended for. That said, in their latest social media post about an update for Athens Airport, they practically gave it away with the use of emojis in their post.
