Scenery developer FlyTampa has released Las Vegas’ McCarran International Airport (KLAS) and city for Microsoft Flight Simulator. This is the second release from FlyTampa on the new platform and builds upon what the development team produced previously with Copenhagen.
The feature list is a mix of all simulator versions, but some appear to be the same across all versions. For example, PBR materials is used throughout the Microsoft Flight Simulator version, along with custom buildings for the airport and 3D bridges and animated trains. Furthermore, McCarran International Airport also features sloped airport terrain in MSFS. In addition to the airport, the Las Vegas strip has also been faithfully recreated with custom buildings in the simulator, with detailed objects and impressive night lighting throughout.
McCarran International Airport serves as the main airport for the city with airlines from all over the world bringing visitors to the region. Allegiant Air and Southwest have huge bases at the airport, with numerous other airlines flying to destinations such as London, Amsterdam, Mexico City and beyond.
You can buy FlyTampa’s Las Vegas for Microsoft Flight Simulator via their store for $19.99 USD. No upgrade or license transfer appears to be available.
