Following shortly on the announcement and preview, FlyTampa has now released Athens International Airport (LGAV) for Microsoft Flight Simulator. FlyTampa Athens brings an up-to-date and highly detailed rendition of the airport, with several exciting and new features. Athens International Airport Eleftherios Venizelos is the largest airport in Greece and serves the country’s capital city and its larger region. The airport provides a large number of destinations all over the world. Furthermore, it’s also an important hub to keep the country and its many islands connected with a large number of flights and connections.
FlyTampa’s Athens comes with a sloped airport terrain and several 3D terrain features and details. It also includes PBR textures and dynamic lighting, and animated traffic on the apron, highway and train tracks. It also comes with several animation features, such as animated passengers in- and outside the terminal, animated lights and flags among other things. The animated features are all visible in the video from the preview announcement.
FlyTampa Athens is available right now through FlyTampa’s own website, and costs $17.99. The scenery will also be coming to the in-game Marketplace, SimMarket and Orbx Central soon.
