FLYT Simulations has announced that they are developing Champaign-Urbana city scene and the airports within the area. For those that don’t know, Urbana sits in the county seat of Champaign County, Illinois within the US. For flight simmers, two airports sit in this region. Both Willard Airport (KCMI) and Frasca Field Airport (C16). We can exclusively inform you that both airports will be included in the package as per the coverage map below.
As you can see from the coverage map, the team plan to cover a large amount of area with a range of 15cm/px and 1m/px resolution textures. In total, over 900km2 of coverage is planned. It will include the aforementioned airports, detailed aerial imagery and a range of buildings and custom autogen.
FLYT Simulations are planning on releasing the project for both Prepar3D v4 and X-Plane 11.
