Over on their Discord, developer FlyingIron Simulations has shown some progress on their latest two warbirds. The developer came with separate announcements for both their Focke-Wulf Fw 190 and their Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress.
The Focke-Wulf Fw 190 seems to be fairly far along in progress, with the team claiming testing of the aircraft will start soon. The previews show a fully modelled and textured aircraft interior and exterior. The iconic shape of the ‘Würger’ is easily recognisable. FlyingIron Simulations has opted to model the Fw 190 A-8, the most produced variant of the German warplane.

The team also shared some previews of their ‘recently’ announced Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress. Similar to the Fw 190, FlyingIron Simulations has chosen to model the most produced variant of this aircraft, the B-17G. It incorporated design changes from previous models mostly aimed at enhanced armament of the aircraft. While the previews show that this aircraft is not that far along yet, it does show some detailed modelling with attention to details, like we’re used to from FlyingIron Simulations.

While the developer has not given any indication of a release window for either of these aircraft, with especially the Focke-Wulf Fw 190 getting closer, FSElite will keep you up to date on all news from FlyingIron Simulations.
