FlyingIron Simulations announced their F6F Hellcat at the beginning of the year, but has since then remained quite tight-lipped about it. However, after the release of the Freeware Moving Aircraft Carrier, one of the developers couldn’t help and post a few previews of the upcoming plane over on their Discord. The previews show the Hellcat near and on the carrier, and the developer stated that the carrier works perfectly together with the plane. The Hellcat will support features such as the tailhook and launchbar for aircraft operations.
FlyingIron Simulations did not make any further statements on the progress of the plane. The previews show it’s in a seemingly pretty good state, but the team is known for really trying to perfect the simulation of these authentic warbirds.
